What time is Germany vs. Scotland on today? TV channel, live streams for Euro 2024 match | Sporting News

Get ready for a thrilling showdown at the Allianz Arena in Munich! Hosts Germany kick off Euro 2024 against Scotland in Group A this Friday.

Germany, known as Die Mannschaft, are eager to make up for recent disappointments. With young coach Julian Nagelsmann at the helm, they’re looking for a fresh start. Nagelsmann, once a Bayern Munich boss, returns to a familiar ground aiming for glory.

This tournament marks a new chapter for Germany post-Joachim Low. They haven’t played a competitive match since the 2022 World Cup but have shown promise in recent friendlies, beating teams like France and the Netherlands. They’re the favorites in a group with Hungary and Switzerland.

On the other side, Scotland, led by Steve Clarke, are dreaming big. They’ve never made it past the group stage in the Euros, but they’re hopeful this time around. Their journey to Euro 2024 was a mix of highs and lows, including a win against Spain. However, their form has dipped recently.

Germany have the upper hand historically, with Scotland not winning against them since 1999. Can Scotland pull off a surprise, or will Germany’s home advantage prove too strong?
