The 2024 Open Championship has arrived at Royal Troon in Scotland, with the best golfers in the world set to battle for the final major title of the season. But what channel is the Open on? We’ve got you covered. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the 2024 Open Championship on TV.
What channel is the Open on?
This year’s Open Championship will be televised on the same TV channels as last month’s U.S. Open: NBC and USA.
USA will open the action on TV with a lengthy telecast on Thursday beginning at 4 a.m. ET and running until 3 p.m. ET. On Friday, USA will run it back with the same coverage for the second round, 4 a.m.-3 p.m. ET
USA then starts the TV coverage on Saturday and Sunday at 5 a.m. ET and 4 a.m. ET, respectively. NBC will carry the primary broadcasts for Saturday and Sunday beginning at 7 a.m. ET.
While you may prefer watching traditional TV coverage, some coverage of this year’s Open Championship will be available exclusively online via Peacock, including early and late coverage of the first round and second rounds, and live simulcasts of NBC’s broadcasts.
