Torino complete capture of Scotland international

Torino have announced the signing of striker Ché Adams on a free transfer following his departure from Southampton.

The Scotland international, who played in all three of his side’s games at EURO 2024, was out of contract with the Saints this summer and although the newly-promoted Premier League outfit were keen to keep him, a deal could not be reached.

Nottingham Forest and Wolves also wanted the 28-year-old but he rejected their advances in favour of signing a three-year contract with the Granata.

Adams becomes the first Scotland player to join Torino since former Ballon d’Or winner Denis Law in the early 1960s.
