Taylor Swift Welcomed To Scotland with Bagpipe Band Playing Her Song | Z100 Portland

Bagpipes welcomed Taylor Swift to Scotland with a Highlands rendition of one of her biggest hits. Ahead of the global superstar’s shows in Edinburgh this weekend at Murrayfield Stadium, residents of the Scottish capital rolled out the welcome mat in very traditional fashion. In honour of Swift’s Scots heritage, eight Highlands bagpipers and three drummers took the stadium. The Reel Time Pipe Band performed one of the singer’s most recognisable songs, Love Story. The band, who have played all over the world and for audiences including the Royal Family, rehearsed for 32 hours to perfect the 2008 hit. The group also wore specially sequinned kilts for the performance, joining in with the legions of ‘Swifties’ who are set to show up to the musician’s performances wearing glitzy outfits and sparkles.
