Survey deadline approaches on Scotland’s future infrastructure landscape

With just two weeks till it closes, the survey is seeking to collect views and opinions on what the public and private sector see as the infrastructure priorities of tomorrow.

The results will be used to help inform SFT’s forthcoming five-year Corporate Plan to be published in April 2025.

SFT performs an ‘end-to-end’ infrastructure role and helps shape the planning, delivery and management of infrastructure across Scotland’s public sector and uses innovate financing to attract additional investment.

Peter Reekie, chief executive of the Scottish Futures Trust, said: “With an ever-shifting infrastructure landscape coupled with the recently announced budget cuts, we must continue to be innovative in our approaches to deliver future infrastructure.

“It’s great that we are hearing from a broad range of people from all sectors, telling us what is important to them. Only by fully understanding the priorities and needs of our diverse range of stakeholders can we truly make a difference, and I would encourage anyone involved in any form of infrastructure across Scotland to complete the survey.”

The survey is open to anyone with a view on public sector infrastructure and SFT is seeking to get feedback from those working, for example in, housing, education, energy, digital communications, economic investment, real estate, construction, infrastructure technology and transport.

The survey will close at 5pm on Monday 30 September 2024.
