South African captain, Laura Wolvaardt, won the toss and chose to bat first in their T20 World Cup group ‘B’ match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.
South Africa have named an unchanged team and must win to keep alive their hopes of reaching the semifinals having beaten the West Indies by 10-wickets but lost to second favourites England by seven-wickets.
South Africa are currently in third place behind unbeaten England and the West Indies on net run-rate and need a convincing, and quick, victory against World Cup first-timers Scotland in order to climb back into the top two places.
