Social sports bar to open in Glasgow, Scotland

Downstairs at Bowlarama, a new social sports bar, will open in Glasgow, Scotland, this August.

The venue gets its name due to being located downstairs from the boutique bowling alley, Bowlarama, which has recently added four more bowling lanes. Downstairs will feature a competitive socialising floor and party bar, as well as Scotland’s first batting cages.

Also on offer is AR darts, an arcade with classic games such as Street Fighter II and Pac-Man, retro game machines, air hockey and even disco darts.

There will also be fully licensed bar and restaurant, which will serve up signature cocktails, snacks and sharing dishes from the first-floor restaurant. The new home of social sports will officially open seven days a week from 11am until midnight, starting late August.
