Shoosmiths Mackie Named Rising Star of the Year at Scottish Legal Awards – Scottish Business News

Last night (19 September) saw Samantha (Sammi) Mackie, a senior associate in the employment team at Shoosmiths in Scotland, named Rising Star of the Year at the prestigious Scottish Legal Awards in Glasgow. 

Based in the Edinburgh office, Sammi is a specialist in employment and discrimination law with maintained experience in immigration.  Providing strategic advice that aligns with the client’s commercial objectives, Sammi supports clients across a diverse range of sectors, including transportation, food & drink, technology, energy, social enterprise, gaming and retail. 

Sammi joined Shoosmiths in 2021.  She is already a Recommended Lawyer (Employment) within the Legal 500 and recognised for her strategic approach and outstanding technical advice.
