Sean Batty, STV weatherman and host of hit travel series Sean’s Scotland, stars in Skypark’s newest billboard, inviting Glaswegians to support the STV Children’s Appeal’s ‘Big Scottish Breakfast’ campaign.
Glasgow’s best-known business park will host a breakfast on 11 September to raise funds for the campaign, with a member of the STV Children’s Appeal team helping to serve breakfast at Skypark’s new ‘Gather’ Café.
The annual Big Scottish Breakfast fundraiser helps to provide nutritious breakfasts for children and young people across Scotland who often go without, by inviting friends, family, colleagues and classmates to have breakfast together and raise money for children affected by poverty across Scotland.
The billboard will overlook Glasgow’s busy Expressway and follows on from a vibrant series of Skypark billboards that have also featured members of the tenant community.
Skypark’s Strategic Lettings Advisor, Angela Higgins of Resonance Capital, added: “Sean Batty is one of Scotland’s most recognisable broadcasters and the work that he and STV do to raise vital funds for children and young people in desperate need, is both necessary and admirable.
“The need for support across our communities has never been greater, and the Big Scottish Breakfast is a fun and accessible way to join in and raise money.
“Our new billboard looks across one of Glasgow’s busiest routes and is in the ideal position to generate as much attention as possible for this fantastic charity, which we’re delighted to support.”
Weatherman and STV Children’s Appeal Ambassador, Sean Batty said: “A big thank you to Skypark for helping us promote the Big Scottish Breakfast.
“I’m looking forward to seeing the billboard on my commutes every morning and I hope that it will encourage even more people to get involved, and raise funds for children and families that need it most across Scotland.”
