The first half was better from Hearts. The second half just drifted and it got worse as the game went on.
Hearts fell away from doing things that made the first half better, in terms of trying to penetrate behind the United defence.
The confidence is clearly shot, it’s very low. There are very few positives. There is quality in the team but it’s unbalanced.
This is Steven Naismith’s team now. He has recruited this team, so there must be a clear identity to this team and how they want to play. But it’s not clear.
There are no obvious solutions here. It falls on the club, the coaching staff and the recruitment. What is it they are trying to do? They have not solved it.
