Scottish League Cup: Falkirk down Dundee Utd, while East Fife cause shock

Partick Thistle 3-2 Montrose: Striker Ben MacIver-Redwood, the summer arrival from University of Stirling, shocked the Championship hosts when he gave League 1 side Montrose the lead early on in the first half, but home defender Aaron Muirhead levelling up before the break.

Midfielder Kyle Turner gave Thistle the lead early in the second half, forward Ben Hermiston grabbed an equaliser for the visitors, but veteran striker Brian Graham netted the 75th-minute winner.
