Just when you thought you’d seen it all, Scottish football throws up yet more drama.
Dundee United were trailing 10-man Hibs 2-1 in the 93rd minute and found two goals in the dying embers.
It piles yet more agony on the increasingly beleaguered figure of David Gray who goes into next week’s Edinburgh derby with his team bottom of the league and without his captain Joe Newell, red-carded here for two yellows.
It doesn’t rain but it pours on Gray at the moment.
As for Dundee United, huge credit. They were without their star man up top, Louis Moult and half of their starting midfield in Ross Docherty and Craig Sibbald.
They were losing with minutes to go. And yet still managed to find a way to win. Just one defeat in the league so far this year and a really solid platform from which to build. Could they be a top six side this season? On this evidence, they’ve certainly got the stomach for it.
