Saoirse Ronan reported to have wed in Scotland

It is reported that Saoirse Ronan has married her longtime partner and fellow actor Jack Lowden in a “secret ceremony” in Edinburgh.

A Sunday Independent exclusive claims the couple married “last weekend” in Slow Horses star Lowden’s native Scotland.

“Only a handful of the couple’s closest friends were present – and all the guests were sworn to secrecy,” says the report.

Ronan and Lowden starred together in 2018’s Mary Queen of Scots and have kept their relationship out of the public eye.

They are both producers on Ronan’s new film, The Outrun, which opens in Irish cinemas on Friday 27 September.
