Rugby chief tackles new role at Scottish Friendly

1. The chairman of Scottish Rugby is to head the board at Scottish Friendly, the mutual.
John McGuigan joins the financial services provider as its new chairman, taking over from David Huntley.
McGuigan, 63, previously held senior roles at Phoenix Group, Telefónica and NHS24. Along with his role at Scottish Rugby he is also the chairman at Scottish Financial Enterprise, the trade body.
McGuigan said: “Scottish Friendly has a bright future ahead and I am excited to be part of that.”
