Ronaldo swears at referee and was inches away from pitch invader
Portugal’s Nations League clash against Scotland didn’t produce any goals but it was eventful evening for Cristiano Ronaldo.
With just minutes remaining until stoppage-time of the 0-0 draw at Hampden Park, a supporter made their way onto the pitch.
In video footage from The Sun, the invader can be seen running towards the Scotland box where Ronaldo was standing before a substitution took place.
The individual came within inches of the Portugal forward before being tackled to the ground by security staff, prompting the crowd to cheer.
After just a few seconds lying on the turf, the fan in question was swiftly removed off the pitch by stewards.

The final moments of the match were then played out, with neither side able to break the deadlock in what was a quiet match.
Ronaldo’s frustrations were visible at the full-time whistle as he appeared to sarcastically clap once the whistle was blown.
He then seemingly swore at referee Lawrence Visser by shouting ‘S***’ in his direction.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner continued to throw his arms in the air and gesture as he made his way off the pitch.
It looked as if Scotland striker Che Adams briefly said something to him outside the tunnel but it wasn’t enough to stop Ronaldo.
The goalless draw in Glasgow saw Portugal fail to continue their 100 per cent record in the Nations League.
They are top of League A Group 1 with two more matches left to play but know they missed on a chance to seal a quarter-final spot ahead of their final two games in November.
Ronaldo was unable to extend his current goal tally of 133 for Portugal on what was his 200th international start for his country.
Scotland, on the other hand, won their first point of their Nations League campaign.
They face an almighty task to avoid relegation but Steve Clarke’s side will be encouraged with their performance against one of Europe’s best.
