Record turnover for Scottish Professional Football League

1. The Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) has increased its distributions to clubs by almost 6 per cent.
The organisation said the £37.9 million figure, up from £35.8 million, was the largest in its history.
That came on the back of turnover for the 12 months to May rising by 6 per cent to a record £44.3 million.
The increase was largely driven by a television contract with Sky Sports as well as growth in other domestic and overseas broadcasting revenue.
