Rangers launch move £1.5million rated African rising star
RANGERS have launched a move for £1.5million Moroccan striker Hamza Igamane.
The 21-year-old is a rising star in the North African country, playing for top division side FAR Rabat.
Igamane, who can also be deployed as a winger, scored seven times in 20 games for his club last season.
He is a regular for the Moroccan under-23 side and has been tipped for a call up to Walid Regragui’s full squad later this year.
Gers gaffer Philippe Clement is rebuilding his side for a crack at the Premiership title next season so sees Igamane as a player who can make an impact in Scottish football.
There’s already been plenty of upheaval at Ibrox this summer.

Several big names have departed the club, with John Lundstram and Borna Barisic among five players who exited at the end of the season upon the expiry of their contracts.
Two new faces have arrived at the club too with Brazilian left-back Jefte and central defender Clinton Nsiala being snapped up.
Oscar Cortes is back for another loan spell while Mohamed Diomande’s switch from Nordsjaelland has been turned permanent.
SunSport also exclusively revealed earlier in the week how the Gers were at the front of the queue to land Connor Barron.
The Scotland under-21 star is a free agent having left Aberdeen.
Barron’s departure from Pittodrie was confirmed on Friday afternoon.
A host of clubs are interested in signing the midfielder, 21.
Serie A outfit Cagliari want to land him as well as several clubs in England.
Further reports during the week suggested that there were SIX offers on the table for Barron, including one from Plymouth who are now managed by England legend Wayne Rooney.
