Rangers, Kilmarnock & St Mirren await European qualifying draws
Valur or Stephen Robinson’s St Mirren will feature in the Conference League third qualifying round, unseeded.
The likes of Copenhagen, Gent, Legia Warsaw and Hajduk Split will also be in the draw.
Should the Paisley side overcome their Icelandic opposition, they will be one of 52 sides left in the main path of the competition’s qualifying phase, with eight teams in the champions path.
If St Mirren were to then win their third qualifying round tie, they would face a play-off to reach the league phase, which replaces the group stage this season.
There will be 13 ties overall in the Europa League third qualifying round, including six in the champions path.
Hearts enter the Europa League at the play-off stage, the draw for which takes place on 5 August. Steven Naismith’s side are guaranteed group stage football in either the Europa League or Conference League.
The Champions League and Conference League play-off draws are also on 5 August.
Celtic will feature in the Champions League group stage, the draw for which takes place on 29 August – the day before the Europa League and Conference League group draws.
