Pundit sparks Tartan Army fury as he names full Scotland team in worst Euros XI

STEVE CLARKE and his players are well-aware that they let the country down against Germany last Friday.

Not one Scotland star got pass marks from the opener in Munich, with TV pundits Roy Keane and Graeme Souness among the many who took aim at the Tartan Army come full-time.

The first round of fixtures have come to an end following Portgual’s dramatic comeback against Czech Republic last night.

And there’s been a few interesting results in the tournament so far, with Slovakia pulling off what was statistically the biggest upset in Euros history by beating third in the world Belgium on Monday.

Romania also stunned Ukraine to win 3-0 in the earlier kick off that day.

But one talkSPORT pundit has sparked outrage among the Tartan Army after he singled out Scotland’s humiliating display against Germany on-air last night.

Jamie O’Hara, 37, has never been a fan of Scottish football and didn’t waste any time before slamming both Celtic and Rangers on the radio every time they suffered a defeat on the continental stage.

And speaking ahead of the tournament, the former Tottenham, Wolves and Fulham midfielder said he wants Scotland to “get pumped” while in Germany.

It’s fair to say he got his wish straight from the off as Scotland crashed to the 5-1 defeat in Munich.

But the radio host went a step further last night and aimed another stinging pop at Clarke’s men – naming every player who started the match in his worst Euros XI so far.

And to make matters worse for two Scots, O’Hara couldn’t help rub it in to Callum McGregor and Ryan Christie as he doubled down on his comments by adding they had a “bad game.”

He also begrudgingly named Che Adams as his striker despite admitting “it’s a tough one to take” given his allegiance to Southampton.

Does this Scotland team have it in them to recover from humiliating Germany defeat against Switzerland

O’Hara’s comments were brought up this morning, with Alan Brazil furious with his radio pal’s selection.

Going through his list, Brazil pointed out: “The big question is would Jamie get in that team.”

Dean Saunders then hit out at O’Hara over his own playing career.

He said: “Intelligent people don’t start arguments they can’t win. He’s just started an argument about international football … and he’s miles off it.

“He’s trying to wind the Scots up. But I don’t know whether he would get in that team.

“How many caps has he got? Jamie”
