Poland Preview: Polish demolished
Michal Probierz is now under pressure for his job in charge of the Polish national team. This year began with him leading Poland to UEFA EURO 2024 with playoff victories against Estonia and then Wales on penalties in Cardiff before a group stage exit this summer.
They put in some valiant performances against the Netherlands and France in Germany but now look set for an automatic relegation battle down to League B of the UEFA Nations League, sitting above the Scots thanks only to the head-to-head rule.
Scotland Preview: Scottish fight
Scotland have been genuinely awful since confirming qualification for UEFA EURO 2024 last September but their last couple of performances have seen an improvement as they now sit below Poland due to the aforementioned head-to-head rule.
After a goalless draw with Portugal at Hampden Park last month, the Tartan Army managed to overcome ten-man Croatia by a goal to nil the other day thanks to an 86th minute winner from Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn.

Poland vs Scotland Prediction
Poland have quite a limited squad as it is but they are now missing both Frankowski and Lewandowski so their cutting edge and quality in the final third is even further diminished at the moment. They face a Scottish side that will be expected to be quite defensive and try to pinch the game late on with another moment from someone. Given that, a low-scoring encounter is to be expected for this one in the Polish capital.
Poland vs Scotland Tip: Under 2.5 goals
