Personal Problems Mount Up For WWE Star Ahead Of Clash At The Castle, Tag Team Champion Shares Update

After a successful WrestleMania XL, Backlash and King & Queen of the Ring, the World Wrestling Entertainment is gearing up for yet another pay per view event (PPV), Clash at the Castle. This is the second edition the PPV to take place at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. The first edition of Clash at the Castle was held in Cardiff, Wales, back in 2022. On April 1, 2024, during Monday Night RAW, the WWE announced that they are gearing up for a second edition of Clash at the Castle.

This is the first time, that Scotland will be host to any PPV and livestreaming event. The 2024 Clash of the Castle also establishes it as a recurring UK event. Hours before the much anticipated event, a top WWE superstar took to social media and revealed that she had lost all her stuff on her way to Scotland. It is also being said that Cargill had landed in Scotland much before as compared to her colleagues. Cargill is the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion and she is already gearing up to defend her title along with Bianca Belair in a triple threat match.

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champs Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will lock horns with home country stars Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre as well as Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark. On Monday Night RAW, that aired on May 20, Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark emerged victorious in a fatal four-way tag team match and became the top contenders for Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill’s WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Things did not get better for Belair & Cargill as Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn mocked Baszler and Stark the following week. Making things much worse, a brawl broke out between the three teams in Friday Night Smackdown. As a result, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announced that both Cargill and Belair will defend their championship in a triple threat match.
