‘One of the best neighbourhood pubs’ in Scottish city sold

The agent said The Hermitage pub in Morningside, Edinburgh, sits in a “prominent location in one of the most popular and affluent areas in Scotland’s capital”.

Barry McNeil, director at Cornerstone Business Agents, said: “The business is a superb example of a high quality traditional public house hostelry with an excellent food offering. The pub has been bought by an experienced operator adding to their growing estate of venues.

“We were delighted at the significant levels of interest we achieved on the site.”

The value of the deal was not disclosed but the leasehold was marketed at a guide price of £65,000 and rent at around £61,000 a year.
