Scotland crashed out of Euro 2024 on Sunday and the best betting sites have opened a market on who will replace Steve Clarke as their manager.
Needing a win to (almost certainly) qualify for the round of 16, Scotland turned in a flat and meek performance in a 1-0 defeat by Hungary.
They did not even land a shot on target across the 90 minutes, leaving Scotland bottom of Group A and Clarke under huge pressure at the start of this week.

The 60-year-old’s contract runs until after the 2026 World Cup, but Scotland’s shortcomings this summer have led to calls for change.
No decision has been made yet, but this is one to watch in the days and weeks ahead.
Who might replace Clarke if he does indeed part ways with the national team? We can reveal the leading contenders for the position as things stand.

Moyes And McInnes The Early Favourites For Role
David Moyes is working on British television at Euro 2024, but he will surely be back in the dugout soon.
Available after ending what was a hugely successful spell at West Ham United, Moyes may feel the time is right to step into the international arena having worked in club management since 1998.
Moyes has never coached north of the border before, and he would surely be tempted by an offer from the Scottish FA.
He is the 3/4 favourite with football betting sites at the time of writing.
Derek McInnes is another name in the frame. He led Kilmarnock to a fourth-place finish in the Scottish Premiership in 2023/24, qualifying the club for the Europa League in the process.
That was an outstanding achievement and McInnes is priced at 5/2 to succeed Clarke, who got the Scotland job in 2019 on the back of his work at Kilmarnock.
Martin And Robinson Could Come Under Consideration
Russell Martin (3/1) and Stephen Robinson (4/1) could also be in the mix if Clarke is relieved of his duties or decides to step down.
Martin won 29 caps for Scotland during his playing career, but he will almost certainly not choose to step away from Southampton at this stage of his managerial career following their preparation for the Premier League in 2024/25.
Robinson is available at a longer price, but he seems like a more viable candidate.
The 49-year-old is currently in charge of St Mirren, guiding them to a sixth-place finish in 2022/23 and a fifth-place finish last term. The Northern Irishman could be an option.
Benitez And Neil Two Very Different Options
Rafael Benitez is out of work after being dismissed by Celta Vigo in March.
His next steps are unknown, but the Spaniard has made no secret of the fact he enjoys living in the UK.
However, it is hard to see Scotland being able to entice Benitez to take over from Clarke, so odds of 9/2 might not be worth taking up.

Alex Neil, priced at 6/1, has had a mixed managerial career to date.
His most recent stint at Stoke City did not go well, but Neil previously did some good work at Norwich City and won promotion to the Championship with Sunderland in 2022.
Two Fergusons And Lampard Among Dark Horses
Darren Ferguson (13/2), Frank Lampard (7/1) and Duncan Ferguson (8/1) are potential dark horses in this market with betting apps.
Lampard says he is not done with management yet, but whether he would be interested in an international job is doubtful.
Darren Ferguson has considerable experience in the dugout, but the appointment of the Peterborough United boss would not exactly set pulses racing at Hampden Park.
His namesake Duncan Ferguson, on the other hand, only became a manager last year.

Rodgers, Lennon And Bruce Likely To Be Overlooked
The appointment of Brendan Rodgers (10/1) would be a coup for the Scottish FA, but the Celtic manager is much more likely to stay put.
Neil Lennon (12/1), a former Celtic head coach, recently took a job at Rapid Bucharest so that may well rule him out.
Steve Bruce (16/1) has managed in the Premier League for several seasons, but there is a feeling that he is past his best as a coach these days – thus explaining his odds on new betting sites.
