New Scotland man charged with criminal mischief, caught on video damaging basketball court

Albany County Sheriff Craig D. Apple, Sr., reports the arrest of a New Scotland man on criminal mischief charges.

On Friday morning, the Albany County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint from the Town of New Scotland in regards to damage that was done at the Feura Bush Town Park.

At approximately 9:00 a.m., Albany County Sheriff’s Investigators, arrested 35-year-old Jeremy M. Stark after Stark was captured on surveillance video driving his ATV on park property and recklessly caused damage to the basketball court.

Stark was charged with Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree (a class A misdemeanor). He was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of New Scotland Court on October 24, 2024.
