New café opens at one of Scotland’s biggest business parks

The Park, situated in Maxim Park, is the brainchild of Deborah Park, who has rejuvenated the premises formerly occupied by Regis Coffee Bar and Bistro.

She said: “My husband and I had breakfast at Regis most days before it sadly closed and we could see the huge potential.

“We are offering something to suit everyone, whether to relax before or after work, or to pop in for lunch, or even conduct a meeting with a coffee and a slice of cake.”

The café, located on Parklands Avenue, offers a variety of meals from toast to steak pie and mash, plus a grab-and-go lunchtime menu with items like baked potatoes, pizza, paninis, and more.

It will be open from 7am to 3pm each weekday, with potential plans to extend to weekends depending on demand.

She said: “We’ll also be open to hearing suggestions for menu changes so we’re always giving our customers what they want, and we hope they’ll become friends over time.

“After all, we are here for them.”

The café aims to be a part of the community, catering to thousands of office workers at the park.

Maxim Park is a prominent workplace in Scotland, with 756,000 square feet of office and retail space.

It is home to several tenants, including Barratt Developments, LumiraDX, Aureum Diagnostics, TClarke, Linear Group, and Sartorius.

Caroline Baillie, Maxim’s director of park services, said: “We have welcomed a host of new tenants to Maxim Park this year and have a number of further lettings in the pipeline, so it is vital that we have a strong food and drink offer onsite.

“With 24-hour security, a hotel and gym, we pride ourselves on being able to attract first class leisure and retail amenities and have no doubt that The Park is a very welcome addition to the on-site eateries we have for members of our community to choose from.”
