BENGALURU: Nandini, the dairy brand from Karnataka Milk Federation, is poised to make a significant foray into US and European markets, leveraging its international presence through the upcoming T20 World Cup.
KMF, a state-owned dairy cooperative that markets Nandini milk products, will extend its sponsorship to two teams — Cricket Ireland and Cricket Scotland — at the mega event set to unfold across the US and West Indies from June 1 to June 29.
Coinciding with this move, the federation is gearing up to introduce two of its innovative products in the US market, further solidifying its global footprint.
“It’s an opportunity to showcase our brand on the international stage. We’ve planned photoshoots with players, and in the week leading up to the tournament, we’ll execute captivating social media campaigns,” said MK Jagadish, managing director, KMF.
The sponsored teams are slated to engage in four matches each, providing Karnataka’s brand with an unprecedented global exposure and recognition.
Jagadish expressed unwavering confidence in Nandini’s potential to further expand its pan-India presence. “Nandini has its own segment of consumers. People trust our quality. A significant portion of our pan-India presence is attributed to Goodlife (toned milk which is tetra-packed using ultra- high temperature process). We’re exploring avenues for expansion,” Jagadish added.
He said Nandini has already established a thriving parlour in Dubai and there are plans to inaugurate two additional outlets in West Asia — one in Sharjah and another in Abu Dhabi.
“We want to expand our reach to Europe and the US by the end of the next year,” Jagadish added.
