Morgan Stanley’s 157,000 sq ft property on Waterloo Street has been acquired by Iroko Zen

1. A city centre building has been sold for more than £50 million in what is Scotland’s largest office deal so far this year.

The Morgan Stanley base on Glasgow’s Waterloo Street has been purchased by Iroko Zen, a French investment firm.

KFIM sold the 157,000 sq ft property, which is let to the American financial services group until 2033, on behalf of an overseas client.

Gary Cameron, the head of Scotland at BNP Paribas Real Estate, which worked on the deal, said: “Since the start of the year, the Glasgow office market has been experiencing an improved flow of activity.
