Marvel star spotted in popular vintage store in Scottish city

A HUGE Hollywood actor was spotted in a popular vintage store in Dundee today.

X-Men and Last King of Scotland star James McAvoy, 45, delighted staff in Dundee Sole at Wellgate Centre after popping into the shop.

The A-lister was all smiles as he posed up with staff, holding up a vintage Dundee FC shirt.

The snap was shared on social media, along with the caption: “Just a normal Saturday at Dundee Sole.

“Thanks to James McAvoy and team for popping in. Mon the Dees.”

Regular customers were loving the picture and flocked to the Facebook comments.

One person said: “No… I love him!”

Another wrote: “That is class.”

A third added: “Legend.”

While Wellgate Shopping Centre Facebook page shared the photo and said: “How cool is this! It’s only James McAvoy visiting Dundee Sole at Wellgate today.”

McAvoy was recently at the San Diego Comic-Con which was held from held from July 25 to July 28 to attend a panel on his upcoming film Speak No Evil.

The new Deadpool & Wolverine film was the talk of the convention.

The superhero movie stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

But McAvoy, who plays Professor X in the reboot of X-Men: First Class, confirmed he was never approached about making a cameo in the blockbuster.
