Major budget airline launches exciting new flights from Scotland to sun hotspot
A BUDGET airline has announced brand new, exciting flights from Scotland to a popular holiday hotspot.
Jet2 officially launched flights from Edinburgh Airport to Malta today as part of their new routes for summer.
Flights to the favourite Mediterranean destination will be in place until October 30 this year.
The new flights mean holidaygoers will be able to travel directly to Malta from Scotland for the first time.
Both customers and independent travel agents will be able to book package holidays to the top destination.
And not only that, but they can also easily visit the neighbouring island of Gozo.
Flights will leave Edinburgh Airport on a weekly basis every Wednesday.
It comes as Jet2.com and Jet2holidays launched a new programme for Summer 24 from Edinburgh Airport, with 33 sun and city destinations on sale across the Mediterranean, Canary Islands and Europe.
