Lyndon Dykes has been pictured being stretchered off during Scotland training – just two weeks before the Euro 2024 opener against Germany.

Steve Clarke’s provisional squad met up this week to prepare for the tournament at their Lesser Hampden training complex.

Assistant John Carver eased injury fears about several players on Thursday with six players missing the first day of training.

However, the national team now face a sweat over QPR forward Dykes who was pictured with his head in his hands while being stretchered off.

It’s understood he is being assessed by the medical staff with a further update to follow.

The 28-year old has proven to be a key player for Clarke since he switched international allegiances from Australia.

He has scored nine goals in 36 caps – and is expected to be in contention for a starting spot for their curtain opener in Germany.

Pre-tournament friendlies have been set up against Gibraltar on May 3 and Finland on May 7.
