Liam Kelly: Rangers sign Scotland goalkeeper after Motherwell exit

Liam Kelly describes it as “unbelievable to be back at Rangers” after they confirmed the Scotland goalkeeper has signed a two-year contract following his exit from Motherwell.

The 28-year-old, who came through Rangers’ academy, returns to Ibrox after spells with Livingston and Queen’s Park Rangers before seeing out his three-year deal at Fir Park.

Kelly, who was part of Scotland’s Euro 2024 squad in Germany this summer after earning his international debut in October’s 4-1 defeat by France, played 154 times for Motherwell, 43 of them last season.

“When I left, I probably never thought I would be back, but I am so delighted to be here,” he told Rangers’ website.
