Latest as Scotland open Nations League campaign against Poland

THERE are several new faces in the Scotland squad ahead of a new Nations League era.

But boss Steve Clarke has very much stuck with the old guard for tonight’s clash with Poland.

Ryan Gauld, Ben Doak and Connor Barron are among six uncapped players in the new-look squad.

But NONE of those players start against the Poles at Hampden tonight.

Angus Gunn keeps his place as No1 with Anthony Ralston, Grant Hanley, Scott McKenna and captain Andy Robertson making up the back four.

It’s a familiar look about the midfield with John McGinn, Kenny McLean and Ryan Christie joined by new Napoli teammates Scott McTominay and Billy Gilmour.
