Scotland are keeping their focus on football as they prepare to face Euro 2025 qualifying rivals Israel for the second time in five days, says striker Jane Ross.

The Scots won 4-1 at an empty Hampden on Friday amid security concerns due to the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

The return game on Tuesday will be played in the neutral venue of Budapest, again with no fans present.

Ross, who earned her 150th cap from the bench, insisted Scotland’s professionalism has ensured their attention remains on the football.

The comprehensive victory ensured Pedro Martinez Losa’s side moved top of Group B2 on goal difference, following a win against Slovakia and a draw in Serbia.

“We’ve been trying to get rid of the outside noise and just focus fully on the games and going out to win,” Ross said.

“We have a very professional group. I think you saw that in Friday’s performance and hopefully we can bring that into tomorrow’s game too.”
