International News // Hutchinson and Millar Mills named in Scotland’s Autumn squad

Northampton Saints duo Rory Hutchinson and Elliot Millar Mills have both been named in Scotland’s 45-man squad for the upcoming Autumn Nations Cup.

28-year-old centre Hutchinson returns to the international fold after an impressive few months in Black, Green and Gold – that saw him claim the Club‘s Player of the Month award for September – and is set to add to his seven Scotland caps to date as they face Fiji, South Africa, Portugal and Australia throughout November.

Meanwhile prop Millar Mills retains his place after a successful campaign with Scotland over the summer, and will hope to add to the five international caps he has to his name.

Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend said: “We’ve been encouraged by the early season performances of our players and are looking forward to working with them once again. We had some stand-out performers on our summer tour, who have earned their selections for the Autumn Test campaign.

“The Autumn is always an exciting time of year and the four matches in The Famous Grouse Nations Series all offer different challenges.

“Being back at home for four weeks will be an incredible experience for our players and the support we receive will make a massive difference.”
