Hibs eyeing up swoop for Scotland Under-21 star as Gray plots summer move
HIBS are eyeing up Scotland under-21 keeper Cieran Slicker.
But Kilmarnock are also among the Premiership clubs keeping tabs on the Ipswich Town kid.
Slicker, 21, played the role of back-up goalie as the Portman Road side clinched promotion to the Premier League.
But the highly-rated under-21s regular will be farmed out on loan next term and there is interest from Scotland.
Hibs are chasing a new No1 after David Marshall left at the end of the season and sporting director Malky Mackay knows all about Slicker from his SFA days.
But Killie, who were keen on bringing Will Dennis back from Bournemouth, could also enter the race.

English-born Slicker started his career at Manchester City before Ipswich snapped him up last summer.
But he has already held talks over a loan move for the 2024/25 campaign and is keen to get extra experience.
Slicker said: “Now definitely is the time for me to go and play and I feel like I am in a good position to do so.
“I want to go out and play games, that’s the main thing for me.
“I always enjoy coming away with the 21s, but I want to show people I can do it week in and week out.
“We’ve had a lot of discussions with the manager and goalkeeping coach and everyone is on the same page with it.
“So now we are looking for options to see what is the best platform to help me kick on. That’s the plan.
“Perhaps people will look at it and see that I didn’t play too many games, but being around the squad and working with the manager and his staff has been almost as good as playing 30 games.
“So it was actually an important season.”
