Hearts trio feature in BBC Scotland’s team of the week

Craig Gordon: Had very little to do until the closing stages again, but the sign of a great goalkeeper is being able to suddenly pull off a vital save required to seal all three points. A big player for Hearts in the last two games as a bit of solidity starts to emerge throughout the team.

James Penrice: We always used to speak about Lawrence Shankland when we talked about Hearts. Now it’s all about James Penrice. Again, magnificent down the left and at Tannadice he was also the match-winner.

Blair Spittal: Combined superbly with Penrice. A key player now for Hearts. Starting to look like the player who starred for Motherwell.
