Greg Taylor and James Forrest drop out of Scotland squad

Celtic pair James Forrest and Greg Taylor have withdrawn from the Scotland squad for the upcoming Nations League double-header against Poland and Portugal.

Also dropping out are Torino forward Che Adams and Kilmarnock goalkeeper Robby McCrorie.

Rangers midfielder Connor Barron and Sassuolo left-back Josh Doig have been promoted from the Under-21s and Dundee goalkeeper Jon McCracken is also added to Steve Clarke’s squad for the double-header.

Taylor played the full 90 minutes of the 3-0 derby win over Rangers on Sunday while Forrest came off the bench midway through the second half for his 500th Celtic appearance.

Scotland host Poland on Thursday and visit Portugal on Sunday.
