Full list of SPFL pitch inspections and postponements amid Storm Bert snow chaos
STORM BERT has hit Scotland – with the amount of games called off already into DOUBLE FIGURES and now multiple Premiership clashes subject to a delay.
Yellow and amber weather warnings have been in place across much of the country – with particular problems forecast for the Perthshire and Dundee area.
The Met Office predicted a “multi-hazard event” today, with foot-deep snow, torrential rain and coastal winds gusting to 70mph – and this is SunSport’s one-stop shop for the chaos.
And there’s already been a total of ELEVEN matches lost to the weather – with the Championship clash between Airdrie and Livingston going the same way as the meeting between Morton and Partick Thistle.
Rangers’ clash with Dundee United is now set to kick off at 3.45pm after the Tannadice men’s team bus was held up in traffic near the Queensferry area.
Kilmarnock have made it to Perth but that clash is kicking off at 3.15pm – with St Mirren’s meeting with Aberdeen now set to get under way at 4pm.

Kelty Hearts‘ League one clash against Arbroath was called off after clashes at Bonnyrigg Rose and Elgin City went the same way.
It’s clearly brutal out there, with an image showing the Stenhousemuir team bus stuck behind a police car amid some snow chaos en route to Cove Rangers at the Broxden roundabout on the outskirts of Perth.
The decision was promptly taken to postpone that match – with Queen of the South’s fixture with Inverness Caley Thistle also falling victim to the weather.
While every top flight ground is fitted with undersoil heating, the likes of St Johnstone take on Kilmarnock at McDiarmid Park today, with Motherwell fans facing an arduous journey up to Dingwall to take on Ross County.
And the Fir Park side have just sent out a message to fans NOT to travel on the main route north, the A9 – despite the match still currently going ahead with the team having travelled up YESTERDAY.
They wrote on X: “The club have been in touch with the SPFL and the match officials.
“The match officials and the Motherwell team travelled up yesterday.
“We are advising fans not to travel on the A9. As it stands, the game is currently going ahead.”
St Mirren have put out a plea for volunteers to help clear the pitch and surrounding areas with a view to getting their clash with Aberdeen played.
There’s two evening games too, with Dundee hosting Hibs in a televised clash from Dens Park then Celtic travelling through to face Hearts in Edinburgh.
Montrose have taken the unusual step of pushing kick off back an hour to get their clash with Annan played.
Rangers host Dundee Utd at 3pm at Ibrox, with the Gers’ supporter liaison officer has advised fans to allow extra time for travel ahead of the clash with Dundee United and to be prepared for quickly changing conditions but as of now no pitch inspection is planned at Ibrox.
We’ll endeavour to keep you up to speed with all the pitch inspections and any potential postponements should they arise.
