A huge field of celebrities and amateurs will be teeing up in the Dunhill Links Championship this week, but who are they? Here’s a rundown of those taking part.

The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship kicks off on Thursday, October 3rd. This prestigious event takes place across three iconic courses: the St Andrews Old Course, Carnoustie Championship Course, and Kingsbarns.

A total of 168 professional golfers will hit the links alongside 168 celebrities and amateurs over the first three rounds. Each group will tackle a different course per round before the cut on Saturday evening. Then, it’s down to the Old Course on Sunday for the final round, where the individual and team champions will be crowned.

Yasir Al-Rumayyan

One of the two key figures in the attempt to reunite men’s professional golf, this is LIV Golf boss Al-Rumayyan’s second appearance in the Dunhill Links having played in 2023, where he was famously listed as ‘Andrew Waterman’ until the eve of the tournament. He’ll play alongside LIV’s Dean Burmester for the week, playing in the same group as PGA Tour boss Jay Monahan in the opening round and alongside Rory McIlroy on day two.
