Extension granted for Scotland’s digital technology awards ceremony | FutureScot
Companies and individuals entering Scotland’s annual Digital Technology Awards ceremony have been given a five-day extension to apply.
Applicants now have until Tuesday, January 14, to get their entries into ScotlandIS – the cluster management organisation for the tech sector in Scotland.
The event takes place on Thursday, March 20, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow with awards across 10 categories, including public sector innovation, supported by Futurescot.
Karen Meechan, CEO at ScotlandIS, said: “There are some really impressive businesses and individuals driving the Scottish tech sector forward just now, and 2024 was a particularly strong year in that respect. We’ve got plenty to celebrate as an industry and the Digital Tech Awards is a great opportunity to shout about the amazing work that’s going on up and down the country.
“The standard of entries we receive is extremely high, and this year looks set to be no different. It’s been great to see nominations from a very diverse range of businesses and encouraging that different regions across Scotland represented. From Dalbeattie to Dingwall there are some wonderful success stories out there and we look forward to supporting more of them than ever in 2025.”
The 2025 Digital Tech Awards will be the 15th annual awards run by ScotlandIS as the organisation celebrates 25 years since it was first formed at the turn of the millennium. It seeks to shine a light on the scale, innovation and talent of the Scottish tech sector, with categories always extremely competitive.
This year’s awards also see the addition of a new category, Outstanding ITMSP, which recognises managed service providers that have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation and impact on customer service.
