Dundee: Julien Vetro collapsed in dressing room
It is the second time a Dundee player has collapsed this season, with midfielder Mohamed Sylla suffering an anaphylatic shock at half-time of the defeat by Aberdeen in September.
Dundee battled back from two goals down to beat Kilmarnock with Vetro’s fellow Frenchman, Ziyad Larkeche, netting the winner in stoppage time.
Larkeche dedicated his dramatic goal to his friend.
“He is feeling well so to see him after the game with a big smile, it was a big relief for me,” the defender said.
“Before the game I was thinking: ‘If I score, this goal will be for Julien.’
“I was really worried, he is one of my close friends here and when you see someone like that, I was really concerned so this goal is for him and also for Mohamed [Sylla] because he just had a kid.”
