Crawley Town sign Scottish midfielder Max Anderson from Dundee

Crawley Town have signed Scottish midfielder Max Anderson from Dundee for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old has put pen to paper on an initial two-year contract with the League One side.

He becomes the Reds’ 10th summer signing after they won promotion via the League Two play-offs.

Anderson came through the academy at Dundee, where he made 93 senior appearances and scored eight goals.

He spent last season on loan at Inverness Caledonian Thistle, making 31 league appearances as they were relegated to Scottish League One.

“This seems like a really great club to be at, and one that develops players really well. I have spoken with the manager and the staff and everyone was very pleasant with me,” he told Crawley’s website., external

“Scott [Lindsey] gave off a really good energy, and it is clear he wants to develop me as a player, and I think I can develop very well here, so I can’t wait to get going.”

Crawley play their first game of the new League One season at home to Blackpool on 10 August.
