CBRE appoints new Managing Director of Scotland

Global real estate advisor CBRE has appointed Matt Willcock as its new Managing Director of Scotland. The company has also made some strategic senior leadership changes in the country as the business embarks on the next phase of innovation and growth.

Matt will be taking over the role from David Smith who has been in the position for two years. David will continue to be part of the senior leadership team, taking on a new role focusing on capital markets and development spanning offices, industrial & logistics, retail and living sectors.

Joining CBRE in 2012, Matt has held key leadership roles across the London and regional business but more recently in Scotland, playing a pivotal role in driving a client centric culture, implementing growth strategies and fostering high performing teams.

In his new position, David will deepen integration with CBRE’s global network and leverage international connections to further elevate Scotland’s attractiveness to capital. Stevie Newlands will continue to lead the Investment Team.
