Calnex Solutions falls into the red but expects to return to growth

The Aim-listed business booked a £384,000 pre-tax loss in the 12 months to March this year, compared with a £7.2 million profit in the 12 months to March 2023.

Revenue fell by 41 per cent to £16.3 million, with one of the main reasons being the deferral of spending by its telecoms customers. The company maintained its dividend at 0.93 pence per share.

Tommy Cook, the founder and chief executive, said he expected a return to growth in the current financial year.
