Bridge of Allan school commits to 3-years tuition fee freeze – Scottish Business News
CERTIFIED International Baccalaureate (IB) Continuum School, Fairview International School, Bridge of Allan, has announced that its tuition fees will remain set at the schools current prices for the next 3 years.
Seeking to offer families financial stability when it comes to their child’s education, it is hoped that the school’s commitment to withhold from increasing fees will help ensure continued affordability for its parents and enable families to financially plan for their child’s future education during a time of heightened financial uncertainty.
Starting from the academic year 2024/2025, the fixed fee structure will be published and guaranteed until June 2027 with the option for families to join at any point in time.
Mr. Chian, the Chairman of Fairview International School Group, aims to make top-tier IB education as accessible as possible to all children, said: “In these times of political and financial uncertainty, we know that parents are doing all they can to continue supporting their children’s education and development, and we hope this initiative will provide some assistance and stability during this time.
“We understand the challenges that families may face with the potential VAT increase on schools by a future Labour government, but we are committed to finding ways to support our families through it and we look forward to continuing to serve our students and families for many years to come.”
The school, which offers a holistic learning experience through the world-renowned IB learning framework, is the first in Scotland to offer an uninterrupted continuum through IB education for students aged 5-18 through the delivery of three IB core programmes; Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP).
Offering more than the standard curricula, the IB programmes focus on critical thinking and academic integrity, stressing the significance of questioning, comprehending, and responsibly utilising information in the digital age.
Fairview’s personalised approach to learning, coupled with its small class sizes, supports its students to excel on their individual learning journeys by recognising and nourishing individual strengths and talents and supporting students to have confidence in their own abilities.
The Stirling school is one of six global sister schools located across Southeast Asia, known to be among the world’s best-performing private schools delivering the IB DP. Its global connections and diverse student body, parent community and faculty provide exceptional universal learning opportunities to families based in Central Scotland.
Admissions are open all year round and Fairview offers personalised visits and non-committal taster days, allowing students to try an IB Education. Scholarships covering up to 100% of tuition fees are available for academic passion, excellence in performing arts and sporting performance.
Fairview’s fixed fee structure will be published on their website www.fairviewinternational.uk for the academic year 2024/2025.
