Bizarre moment Scotland fan spotted filming Euro 2024 training in his pants

STEVE CLARKE will be doing his homework on his Scotland players ahead of his final squad selection for Euro 2024 next month.

But the Hampden boss isn’t the only one keeping a close eye on the Tartan Army heroes as one fan did his own bit of scouting from his house while standing at the window in his PANTS.

The bizarre moment was captured by everyone in attendance, and he could be seen filming Clarke and his players while reacting to shouts and laughter coming from the Scotland camp.

The former Kilmarnock boss and his players were in disbelief when they spotted the brave individual, and hilarity ensued on the Lesser Hampden turf.

The fan raised his arm and fist bumped the air while still holding his phone after star midfielder John McGinn laughed and shouted: “Get some clothes on!”

The punter refused to listen to the Aston Villa star though and instead stayed where he was and continued watching the session from his window in his underwear.

It might be stressful period for Clarke and his coaching team with some big selection decisions to make ahead of the big kick off on June 14.

But even the head coach couldn’t resist sharing a laugh with his staff as he took a moment to appreciate the unusual encounter.

The supporter remained at his window and was in full spirit throughout the session, and was still there when the players did another lap of the pitch.

Meanwhile, the stripped down fan wasn’t the only surprise sight at Lesser Hampden.

One of Clarke’s players was spotted wearing a mask during the session, which could be a sign that he may need to don the headgear during the Euros.

Former Celtic defender Jack Hendry is the player in question but for those who have kept up with his displays in Saudi Arabia, it’s rather old news as he has worn it for Al-Ettifaq‘s previous four fixtures.

He first wore it for their 5-0 win over Al-Ittihad on May 10 and it stayed on for their clashes with Al Akhdoud, Al-Shabab and Al-Taawoun since.

The centre-back has played every minute of Al-Ettifaq’s league campaign this season and has been a key player for ex-Rangers boss Steven Gerrard since his big-money move last summer.

But while the mask stayed on for a long period, Hendry didn’t need to wear it for the full session and was seen training without it at points.

The defender could be seen getting help from his old club team-mate Callum McGregor in putting the headgear on during the light training.
