Bioliberty Takes on Arrochar Alps Challenge to Support Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland – Scottish Business News

The team at Bioliberty, an Edinburgh-based med-tech start-up, has signed up for the charity challenge next month to raise funds for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.

Bioliberty, which is currently focussing on developing innovative rehabilitation products for stroke recovery, say they want to “give something back” to Scotland’s largest health charity for helping them in their early days.

12 of the team will be taking on the one-day adventure through the bonnie summits of Ben Narnian, Ben Ime, and the Cobbler.

Conan Bradley, chief commercial officer and co-founder, said: “The Bioliberty team is excited to take on the Arrochar Alps Challenge to support Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.

“For us, it’s more than just a fundraiser; it’s a way to give back. When we first started developing our rehabilitation products, CHSS was there to guide us. They provided incredible insights into the needs and challenges faced by stroke survivors and connected us with key voices in the healthcare community.

“Their support is helping to shape our products, and through their connections, we were able to hear directly from those who would benefit from our technology. This challenge is our way of saying thank you and continuing to support the vital services CHSS provides.”

Bioliberty said they wanted to help support CHSS because the two organisations share their goal of empowering people with essential services and support.

Conan added: “We’ve known about CHSS since the early days of Bioliberty. We’ve attended their events and seen firsthand the incredible work they do. Their dedication to supporting those with chest, heart, and stroke conditions is truly inspiring, and their guidance has been instrumental in our journey.

“Our whole team of 12 is up for the challenge! We have a mix of software designers and hardware engineers, and there’s already a lot of friendly competition as we compare training routines and gear up for the big day.”
