Holidaygoers will be able to jet off to European capitals for bargain prices if they choose to book the new packages.

They will be available to book from next year as part of the airline’s Winter 2025/2026 programme.

Jet2 announced the new trips, which include brand new journeys, after noting a “strong demand for Christmas Market getaways”.

All of the flights fly directly to and from Glasgow Airport, with some costing as little as £50.

Holidaygoers will be able to fly to Budapest for the first time, with Jet2 offering a mini-series of dedicated trips in winter next year.

This will include two weekly services which will run on Mondays and Fridays from November 28 to December 15, 2025.

We look forward to taking customers to these magical destinations next year and helping them to feel their most festive

The airline has also brought back their popular series of trips to Berlin and Vienna.

Anyone looking to visit Berlin will be able to catch a Jet2 flight between November 28 and December 22 in 2025 on Mondays and Fridays.

While those wanting to visit Vienna can travel on Thursdays and Sundays between November 27 and December 21 2025.

Flights will also operate from Glasgow to both Krakow and Prague, which each have incredible Christmas Markets.

Services to Krakow will run twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays during Winter 2025/2026.

Two weekly services to Prague will also operate, with flights available on Thursdays and Sundays.

And one of the best things about the new flights is that they won’t break the bank.

On December 15, 2025, holidaygoers can fly from Glasgow to Budapest for just £49.

And the cost for return flights is as little as £85.

Around the same time, travellers can jet off to Berlin for just £57 on December 22.

However, the cheapest December return flight from Berlin back to Glasgow is £104.

For those looking to visit Vienna, prices for flights start from £80 in December 2025, with return flights as little as £103.

Journeys from Glasgow to Krakow are coming in at just £78, and a return flight costs £75 in December 2025.

WINTER SUNSHINE

JET2 is not the only airline to launch exciting new flights for those looking for a winter getaway.

EasyJet has launched new flights to a sunny destination for anyone looking for a bit of winter sunshine.

Holidaygoers will now be able to jet off to Gran Canaria from Edinburgh Airport.

Flights to the favourite Spanish destination will be available from December.

Bosses at Edinburgh Airport said a holiday to Gran Canaria in the winter is a must with a great atmosphere and delicious food and drinks.

Jonny Macneal, head of aviation at Edinburgh Airport, said: “We’re always looking to provide alternative options so adding Gran Canaria to our winter sun options with easyJet is really exciting for those passengers that are looking for sun rather than snow over the festive period.”

Flights from Glasgow to Prague are on offer for as little as £97, with a return flight costing just £78 in December 2025.

Steve Heapy, CEO, of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, told Glasgow Times said he expects the new flights to be “as popular as ever”.

He said: “The demand we are seeing for our enormously popular Christmas Markets programme continues to increase, which is why we have responded with our biggest choice of Christmas Market destinations on sale to date for Winter 2025/2026 from Glasgow Airport.

“This latest programme includes the launch of a new mini-series of trips to Budapest, as well as the return of flights and city breaks to Berlin, Vienna, Krakow and Prague.
