Adding to the some of the incredible experiences on offer in Scotland, the firm is launching the Uber Seaplane.

From September 21 to 23, customers can embark on a 30-minute journey of a lifetime in the skies.

The amphibious aircraft fits up to six people per ride.

Riders will begin by boarding from the exclusive jetty of five-star luxury hotel Cameron House before ascending thousands of feet into the air to soar over the sweeping Scottish landscape.

Following the popular West Highland Way hiking path from above, the route will allow scenery-seekers to drink in the stunning sights of Loch Lomond, Fort William, the tallest mountain in the UK, Ben Nevis, the Glenfinnan Viaduct, Glencoe Valley and the Trossachs National Park.

To bring the tour to life, Uber has partnered with The Traitors US host, and proud Scot, Alan Cumming, who has recorded a voiceover for the journey, sharing personal stories and anecdotes, delving into his knowledge and love for the Highlands.

Andrew Brem, General Manager at Uber UK, said: “The Scottish Highlands are one of the most beautiful sights in the world.

“We’re thrilled to work with the iconic Alan Cumming to provide Uber customers with an extra special guided Seaplane tour of this special place”.

Along with the launch of the limited edition Uber Seaplane, the famous Caledonian Sleeper – which takes travellers from London to Glasgow – is available to book now on Uber.

The Uber Seaplane is the second instalment in Uber’s ‘Britannia’ series, which adds some magic to quintessential British moments and places.

The Hidden Challenges of Being a Female Uber Driver

It follows the 2023 launch of the Coronation Carriage, where Uber customers could ride like a royal in the exact replica of the Royal vehicle.

The seaplane can be booked from today at uberseaplanescotland.co.uk. The Uber Seaplane is a free experience. Passengers will only need to place a £50 deposit, which will be refunded upon the day of the flight.
