George Wall has his say on Largs Thistle and Scotland World Cup chances

It is not an easy place to get a victory but everyone is saying it was well deserved.

The team really need to be looking to go the whole way now. There is no reason why they can’t go and win it.

I was heading home from the USA watching for the result and after Beith went 1-0 up I was fearing the worst. I still have a lot of friends at Beith after my time there and I know how disappointed they are.

Onto Troon next week in the league and a victory takes them into second top. Troon have also been picking up some good results and it has all the makings for an entertaining game. All good down Barrfields way at present.

And what a fantastic Old Firm derby at Hampden Park in a 3-3 thriller with Celtic winning a pulsating encounter on penalties.

Credit must also go to Kilmarnock who were down to 10 men for most of the game but still managed to overcome a Hearts side who now look to be in some trouble at the bottom of the table. Not many would have predicted that outcome at the start of the season.
